Jeddah, September 28, 2020, SPA -- The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is following with concern the attacks launched by the Armenian Army against Azerbaijan in several locations in Azerbaijan's territory, violating the cease-fire and resulting in civilian casualties.
The OIC condemned the repeated attacks by Armenia, renewing its solidarity with Azerbaijan, reminding OIC decisions and the relevant Security Council resolutions, and calling for complete and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian forces from the occupied Azerbaijani territories and the adoption of dialogue to reach a political solution to the conflict between the two countries on the basis of respect Azerbaijan sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The OIC offered condolences to the families of the Azerbaijani victims who were martyred, and to the government and people of Azerbaijan, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
