According to reports, the incident was caused by an explosion of a bomb left by the Internal Security Forces in the Al-Ghabawi area. An investigation into the matter has been reportedly launched.
At least two people died and three were injured after the explosion rocked the outskirts of of Jordanian city of Zarqa, according to Sky News Arabia citing Jordanian public security service.The blast reportedly occured at a military base near Zarqa, as report said that the accident was caused by explosion of a bomb left by the Internal Security Forces in the Al-Ghabawi area.
Initially, report said that "rising temperatures" may be behind the explosion.According to Sky News Arabia, the explosion took place in one of the ammunition depots of the armed forces. A large fire reportedly erupted at site of the blast.
Videos allegedly filmed at the scene were shared in social media.
