Tbh, imho, I have always said this was way overpriced, time-costing of a thing to do, taking an SSN and turning it into an SSK.

Australia should have, IMO, gone for something far more expedited and cost-friendly....yet capable.

French submarines are not bad I dont get it what is the point in buying a nuclear submarine and putting a diesel engine into it?? When that submarine was built as nuclear powered??? You cant just fit in a diesel engine and call it a day when the whole submarine has to be done by scratch.

They can go get a German one instead. Our politicians in Australia are so brainless when it comes to military matters.
